Things to Work On At Home

The Bobcat rank is for all boys who join Cub Scouting.  If you joined scouting as a Wolf Scout he must earn the Bobcat badge before he earns anything else.

After a Scout has earned his Bobcat badge, he can start along on the Wolf trail.

When all the tracks are filled in (refer to a Wolf Handbook) a Scout should do their best to complete every requirement to the best of their ability

When a scout completes 3 achievements he can place on gold bead on his progress towards ranks badge.  After four gold beads the scout will receive his award.

A Cub Scout can not only go up in ranks, but also earn Arrow Points. A scout can choose from many elective projects or elective requirements.  A Gold Arrow Point means the scout complete 10 elective projects after he earned his Wolf Badge. Refer to handbook for more information and to see some of the requirements to choose from.

Academics & Sports Belt Loops & Pins

Scouts can work with their families on earning belt loops and pins any time throughout the year. Scouts can earn these achievements on a wide variety of subjects. Dianne has a book that you can look through and see if there is anything you'd like to work on with your son. Ask to see the book at any den meeting.
